I cannot blame these individuals from leaving the House or Senate. The Obama administration and Democrats have made a mockery of the institution and of the Constitution. Three branches of government do no function as three branches. The House passes a bill then it to go to the Senate. The Senate, unless it meet tthe Democratic goals, will present the bill, and if it doesnot they just toss it aside , like the House doesn't matter. The Excutive branch, under Obama, acts like a dictatorship. No one follows the rules ,let alone the constitution, that they have taken an OATH to do. Why even both with a swearing in , with ones hand on the Bible, for it is all a lie.

Congress has been turned into a dictatorial battle that no one wants to fight anymore.

    That's what Obama has accomplished.

No one on the Hill abides by the oath they hve taken. The Oath of following the Constitution. The House passes a bill that has been debated and voted on, then its to go to the Senate. The Senate is to go over the bill and vote on it, if changes are made it go back to the House. but this never happens. Mr. Reid decides if the bill it to his liking first, if not discards it like it never happened. Is this what Americans voted for? NO! No one takes seriously the OATH OF OFFICE., which is to up hold the Constiution of the United States.

DeMint may be crazy but he's not stupid. My guess is he can see the handwriting on the wall telling him in no uncertain terms that the extreme right wing of the GOP has angered the majority of the voting public and things must change in order for the grand old party to survive. It's flee or fight and he has already lost his fight so he's off to greener pastures.

After going to the web-site –
Here are the 2 that made me laugh – -

$27: Price (in February) of a shampoo, haircut and blow-dry at the Senate Hair Care Services salon, which has been open since 1859.

$150,000: Amount for which retiring Rep. Dennis Kucinich sued the House cafeteria after biting down on an olive pit in his sandwich, requiring extensive dental work. The suit was settled in January 2011.

Did you learn anything from that other than they feel helpless to enact any kind of change and confirming Dennis Kucinich is a nut.

Please, CNN, just let them go softly into that good night. We don't need to hear your bobbleheads pontificate about it.
