With less than a week to go before Christmas, a lot of people are hoping for electronics in their stockings.

"Electronics are definitely just as popular as they have been and they always will be. Because everybody has a use for them," said Best Buy manager Austin Binstock.

"It`s a little insane here right now, but it`s great. We`re really close to Christmas, so getting those last minute items, those last minute gifts. So it`s definitely one of our most...our busiest departments in our store," said Target executive team leader Kaia Storhaug.

"Yes, this is, by far, the busiest time of our year. Right now, a lot of people are getting ready to purchase gifts for themselves, and on top of that, they`re getting gifts for their friends and their family," said AT&T area retail sales manager Garrett Kunz.

Tablets, in particular, are popular this year.

"The most popular things are definitely going to be tablets and laptops. Everybody is always coming in, looking specifically at those," Binstock said.

"Right now, probably our most popular gifts is our tablets," Kunz said.

However, not all of the gifts this holiday season can be found in the electronics department.

"There`s leap pads, things like that. So there`s a lot more technology integrated into those," Storhaug said.

One toy that`s making a comeback this year: the Furby.

And if you don`t know exactly what to get someone this year. A gift card might be a good idea.
