Throwback Thursday takes to around 1905 when the Cherrelyn Gravity and Broncho Street Railway was a popular way to get around south Denver. This car was on its return trip downhill from the end of the line on South Broadway in Cherrelyn Village in what is now Englewood. The horse would pull the car up the hill for a little more than a mile, and then stand on the platform on the back for the downhill trip. The photo is from the Denver Public Library's Western History Department.
