We have also taken steps to make the referrers look much more
aesthetic on your site. For instance:
Removed the 'http://www' from referrers that show a URL
and no page title.
Sites are now grouped instead of listing separate. Now if 10
different pages within one site link to you, those will all be grouped into
one listing.
Special groupings for big search sites. Google, Yahoo, etc.
Instead of a search result, the referrers are grouped into a single 'Google
Web Search' or 'Google Image Search'. This takes up much less room and allows
you to be more detailed in your reporting.
Full URLs and a complete list can be seen in the control panel (this site).
You can not only view the page titles, but you can see the actual URL of every
hit
Currently we are working on some new features, and additional
lines of communication with users so we can add/test/remove different aspects
of the program.
There are many 'quick' ways to list referrers. but in today's
Internet you'll end up with literally thousands of 'fake' referrals that are
actually just
scripts
written to spam sites in hopes of improving their Google rank (this doesn't
work anymore anyway).
We've taken the work out of the idea so anyone can use this
service absolutely free of charge. Our goal is to provide webmasters with many
more options to help their sites to look nice, and provide services like this
reciprocal link opportunity.
