What has made the US great is independent inventors. It is great that we have focused on STEM to get kids interested but we are losing sight of the reasons that people do not stay in technology. Some continued to say in the 2000s that there were not enough engineers and technical people but it was largely a scam by companies to justify the cheaper foreign labor. How can we reduce out of the damage done by that? You can get kids interested in science and technology but if the financial rewards are not there, they will still get out of the field. They will not go into the field if it looks unstable or the potential for financial growth is not there. One can only get excited about technology so much and then one expects financial rewards. There is a basic truth: You get what you pay for.

    • If you think Obama is doing a good job read this from the house committee. He is taking our rights away illegally and getting away with it! Do we want to live in a free country or a communist country?
