A world marketing directory listing approximately 50,000 leading enterprises in 140 countries that are the largest employers worldwide. It includes mining, manufacturing, agriculture, forestry, fishing, power generation and distribution, construction, communications, transportation, financial institutions, insurance, real estate, films and other service businesses, and autonomous government entities. This publication is divided into three sections listing businesses by geographic location, by product class, and alphabetically. The Library has volumes for all years; however, 1975/76 was published as a combined volume. The current edition is assigned to the Business Reading Room's Reference Desk collection. Also available on CD-ROM with title: D&B's principal international businesses disc -- expanded coverage. The Library does not have the CD-ROM in its collections.
