Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2013 Campaign

It's time..

SAAM Day of Action: Tuesday, April 2, 2013

About the 2013 campaign

The 2013 National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) campaign focuses on healthy sexuality and child sexual abuse prevention.
This April, join the conversation. Start talking about healthy childhood development to prevent child sexual abuse.

The upcoming SAAM campaign provides tools and information on healthy childhood sexual development for adults to use in approaching our responsibility to protect children. Learning about healthy sexuality helps adults understand characteristics, skills and child development. This information is key to identifying risk factors, supporting healthy boundaries and challenging negative messages. These tools support parents, community members and organizations as they work to prevent child sexual abuse

SAAM 2013 resources to be released in January 2013, please continue to visit the website and SAAM blog for updates. Resources will be available online in English and Spanish, and resource CDs are available upon request. To request a resource CD, join our mailing list by contacting resources@nsvrc.org.
