President Barack Obama on Monday stepped into the right-to-work battle, saying legislation aimed at making it harder for workers to form unions is more about politics than economics.
“What we shouldn’t be doing is trying to take away your rights to bargain for better wages and working conditions,” Mr. Obama said to loud applause at diesel-engine plant in Michigan. “These so-called right-to-work laws, they don’t have to do with economics, they have everything to do with politics. What they’re really talking is giving you the right to work for less money.”
“This is just the first round of a battle that’s going to divide this state. We’re going to have a civil war…” Jimmy Hoffa
Exactly who does Hoffa intend to go to war with over this, average citizens, anyone driving a non-UWA made vehicle, etc? Frankly, words like these and buddie Trumka expose who the real problem is in this nation…them. The more they threaten others, the more they’ll loose as people are tired of thier bullying, B.S., and vote buying.
The Great Society killed the American work ethic.
We need to get the country back to working again. Dems have robbed this country dry. Frankly with more people who are looking for free $hit all the time, I don;t know how we will ever address these structural problems in the country. There is an honest pride one gets from putting in an honest day of work. What happened to us?
Is it true that Obama took Viagra and got 4 inches taller?
“These so-called right-to-work laws, they don’t have to do with economics, they have everything to do with politics.”
obama knows nothing about the former, and too much about the latter.
