What's New at Lebanon Public Library

Free Family Christmas Party

at the Lebanon Public Library


Saturday

                                        Dec.15 from 9 am to Noon

Library-wide activities include:
 

Children's Department:
A visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
The Community Foundation of Boone County
presents Marcus Lehmann's strolling magic show
and a free Christmas book for each child.
Craft tables will be set up for children who wish to make a
Christmas card or ornament. The library will also be collecting
food donations for "The Caring Center".
Please bring your own camera!

Sugar Bowl

The YA and Adult Department will be having a
"Winter Wonderland" Mini Gift shop. The gift baskets offered
consist of new items as well as gently used items. The prices
will be kept low so those on limited income or
children can shop for Christmas gifts at
a small price.

 

Heritage Center:
Library patrons may bring their own cameras for Christmas
photo opportunities that will be available by the fireplace.
Library staff will be on hand to assist with group photos using
patrons' cameras.

 

Audio Visual Department:
We will be showing Christmas movies in the Top Floor Meeting room. There will be treats and a raffle giveaway.

The databases "Hobbies & Crafts" and "Home Improvement" are now offered by  INSPIRE and will no longer be found under our "Database Quick Links" section; In order to accses these databases you must go through the INSPIRE portal which can still be found under our "Database Quick Links" section. 


In place of the two above mentioned databases, LPL has now added  ConsumerReports.org and   Biography Reference Center.
