Upon arriving at NCTAMS PAC in 2012, chain of command was rather good. Ever since 2014, not so much. I had to go to JAG too many times. Leadership tried to send me to an all hands while I was on leave for my child's birth. Illegal but they tried anyway.

I was stationed here from 1981 to 1988! Loved living on this small base for 6 years! Met and worked with a lot of great people!!! I wonder how much the base has... changed since I lived there.
Anyways, all of you stationed there now will hopefully carry great memories of this communication station, just as I have!

On 09 Nov, Rear Admiral Ronald Fritzemeier, Chief Engineer, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, visited NCTAMS PAC. RDML Fritzemeier received a tour of the SATCOM facility at Wahiawa.

As the Oliver Stone movie, "Snowden", opens up in theaters, please be reminded of and adhere to the OPSEC and PERSEC trainings you have received. There are no prohibitions from seeing the movie, but caution is advised when reacting to any potentially classified information or questions asked from the general public. Remember, just because information has been released to the public does not mean the classification level of the information has changed. Without an appropriate security clearance or the need to know, refrain from discussing about any classified information with anyone. If approached, you can also defer all questions to the Command Public Affairs Office.

11 Aug, Captain Herman L. Archibald relieved Captain William A. Dodge as Commanding Officer, NCTAMS PAC. Vice Admiral Michael Gilday, Commander, Fleet Cyber Command/TENTH Fleet, was the guest speaker for the ceremony. Fair Winds and Following Seas to Captain Dodge and his family, and Welcome Aboard to Captain Archibald and his family!

10 Aug, Vice Admiral Michael Gilday, Commander, U.S. Fleet Cyber Command/U.S. Tenth Fleet, visisted NCTAMS PAC. VADM Gilday received a command brief about the mission and history of NCTAMS PAC. Following the brief, VADM Gilday received a tour of the Dan Healy Communications Center from NCTAMS PAC Communication Officer, Lieutenant Musquiz. Before departing the base, VADM Gilday also received a tour of the SATCOM Facility at Wahiawa.
