  • Yellow Ribbon Campaign Kickoff : Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee will be kicking off Yellow Ribbon Campaign for Houston to Welcome the Troops Home.   • Health Screening and Health Services Fair Congresswoman Jackson Lee is working to bring together a dynamic group of health professionals from various disciplines and backgrounds to encourage members of the Houston community to live healthier lives. The event will take place on Saturday, October 13th, at the George R. Brown Convention Center from 11am – 4pm in Houston, Texas. There will be a variety of services provided to Houstonians from immunizations, TB tests, to HIV/STD screening.
