The man who tried to bomb a federally owned building in Casa Grande has been indicted on two charges.
Abdullatif Ali Aldosary, of Coolidge, faces charges for malicious damage to federal property by means of fire and explosives and a felon in possession of a firearm.
The indictment alleges that Aldosary maliciously damaged a Casa Grande building that was leased to the U.S. Social Security Administration, as well as alleging he had in his possession a firearm, after being convicted of a felony offense in a Maricopa County Superior Court.
According to the courts Aldosary will be arraigned in Phoenix on these charges the morning of December 11. Aldosary is currently in custody, pending his trial.
If convicted of the charges he faces a prison sentence of minimum of seven years and a maximum of 41 years, or a $250,000 fine or both, for malicious damage to federal property. If convicted of the felon in possession of a firearm he could face 10 in federal prison, a $250,000 or both.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force, with investigative support from the ATF, the Federal Protective Service, the Office of the Inspector General-Social Security Administration, the Coolidge Police Department, the Casa Grande Police Department, and the Phoenix Police Department.
