Dolphin Watch Boat Tour $180 2 Hour Tour for $150.00
Sit back, Relax, and Enjoy as Captain Adam Pozniak, a 40 year resident of Saint Lucie County and licensed captain, introduces you to the thousands of species in the Indian River Lagoon and shares his extensive knowledge of local Fort Pierce history.
Along the approximately 12 to 15 mile journey, we may encounter several different species of birds, manatee, sea turtles, fish, and yes, even wild DOLPHIN!
On this 2 hour tour, which departs from Stan Blum Boat Ramp in Saint Lucie County, we begin exploring the Lagoon by heading north under Little Jim Bridge, past Jim Island toward Jack Island State Park to explore the mangrove marshes. From there it’s out to the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) northward towards Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute to check on and around the many spoil islands. Turning southward along the ICW, under the North Causeway Bridge, brings us to the Port of Fort Pierce and the Historic Downtown.
Heading eastward takes us along the Fort Pierce Inlet past the Saint Lucie County Historical Museum, the Smithsonian Museum and Research Facility, followed by the US Coast Guard Station at Fort Pierce. Onward toward the Atlantic Ocean, we pause briefly to look back on to the beaches and the entire coastline of Saint Lucie County. From there we pass through the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park and Coon Island (the Cove), returning to the Stan Blum Boat Ramp on North Hutchison Island, only 1.5 miles from Pepper Park and the UDT/ NAVY SEAL museum.

Join us every Saturday from 8AM to noon, rain or shine!
The Downtown Farmers’ Market of Fort Pierce began in 1997. The market began with less than a dozen vendors and has evolved over the years to what it is today. At first, this green market was open in the months of September through May. It is now a year round market.
Residents and tourists alike gather at the market to sip their morning coffee or tea while sampling some of the many mouthwatering baked goods. It is a Saturday morning tradition. You can spend time chatting with friends (old and new); stock up on fresh produce, jams and jellies, honey products, award winning sauces and even handcrafted soaps. The seafood is outstanding! You can buy the most beautiful plants, shrubs and flowers. If you don't have a green thumb, ask our vendors for assistance. They are very knowledgeable and willing to help.
Each week there is live music and occasional special events to delight. On the first and third Saturday of each month, the Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions and even test your soil. On the second and fourth Saturday volunteers from Heathcote Botanical Garden are on hand for advice and gardening information.
Also the Fort Pierce Jazz Society operates an Arts & Craft Market just west on the grassy area.
