The course is located in Lakeland, Florida just off I-4 between Orlando and Tampa. This is another amazing design by golf course architect Steve Smyers. He has carved out 18 magnificent holes, each having its own specific challenge. The goal was to build an interesting test of golf for all skill levels, but specifically be a stern challenge for the long hitting players. Steve Smyers accomplished this by developing this links style course with a risk-reward approach especially around the greens. The green complexes are large averaging 10,000 square feet giving a changing look every time you play it.
Bridgewater requires careful thought to play well and rewards classic shot making. The layout with each of its distinctly different holes, will provide you with a lasting memory of the round, making this “One of your favorite golf rounds in Central Florida”.
