The Passaic County Board of Taxation

The Passaic County Board of Taxation hears municipal tax appeals, prepares equalization tables, and strikes tax rates for all municipalities in the county.

Filing Deadlines

Do not file your tax appeal until on or after February 1, 2013, after you receive your assessment card, but no later than the appeal deadline date (see appeal deadline dates below).

Regular Petition of Appeal

On or before April 1, 2013

Revaluation/Reassessment

Towns having completed a municipal revaluation/reassessment for 2013 filing deadline is on or before May 1, 2013
