Police Academy
Mission Statement
The mission of the Passaic County Police Academy is to provide the most up to date and diversified quality instruction for recruits and veteran police officers.

The Passaic County Police Academy, funded by the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and certified through the New Jersey Police Training Commission is committed to providing the very best training available to its student.

Our goal is to enhance the education level and skills, which will assist an officer to perform in the most professional manner possible.Our curriculum includes numerous courses, which address the technical and practical needs for law enforcement personnel and also stresses enhancing professionalism, ethics and knowledge to better provide our communities with officers who are proficient in their duties.

In keeping with our dedication to serve Passaic County and Northern New Jersey citizens with the best trained officers for their communities, In-service training classes are offered year round and at no cost to all police agencies in Passaic County. This enables all of our County’s Law Enforcement professionals to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies so they may continue to better serve our communities.
