Open Government
The Passaic County Open Government Initiative bridges that gap between government and its citizens. Transparency, public participation, and collaborative improvements promotes efficiency and effectiveness.

New Jersey Legislature enacted the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) which represents a great victory for open government advocates and a significant step towards achieving transparency in government. Citizens are now given greater access to all records at the state, county and local levels, and real-time data is now accessible to anyone. Join us as we leverage this openness to increase your participation and awareness of our government.
