Be the Hero

Our group tried to express, through this video, our belief that anyone can stand up to bullying. Every single day, children are bullied in the presence of bystanders who could make a difference, and yet don't, choosing instead to remain silent. When you see bullying happening, it's easy to look the other way. It's easy to not get involved, or to think that, after all, what can you do to stop it? You're no superhero. But you don't need to be. We all have the the power to stop bullying. We all have the power to change a life. Or maybe even save one.

Great message portrayed by a group of young people that not only "talk-the-talk" but also "walk-the-walk". I have the honor of knowing many of you personally and it is amazing and reassuring to me how well you live your lives by The Golden Rule. How peaceful our world could be if everyone followed your lead.

Love how you used a real situation that happens every day in classrooms, but injected it with humor. Great job!

Exceptionally well done. I've been a creative executive in advertising agencies for 40 years. These students did their homework. The got to the real issue: people are afraid to step up, afraid they aren't able to do anything. But that's not true as this video shows! They produced a short, convincing message with punch. Facial expressions told the story and the video work supported the single message powerfully: "You don't need to be a superhero to stop bullying." Bravo, well done.
