Don't let 2013 be another year of bloodshed in Syria
As 2012 draws to a close, human rights abuses by both opposition and government forces in Syria are spiralling. We have the names of over 29,000 people killed since the crackdown on peaceful protests first began in March 2011, but we believe the total figure is far higher. This endlessly rising death toll serves as a constant reminder that what started as a peaceful cry for freedom has descended into an internal armed conflict – with devastating consequences. This simply cannot be allowed to carry on. Help ensure 2013 is not another year of bloodshed.
