"The treatment we got from the gate was wonderful, everybody was so friendly.  It is not what they were telling us," Assistant Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Olympic Gold medalist, Daniel Amokachi 'The Bull' said shortly after the Team’s visa interviews at the U.S. Embassy on Friday, November 9, 2012.

Nigeria's Super Eagles are scheduled for a friendly match with Venezuela’s national team, which will be played in Miami on Wednesday, November 14 as part of the team’s preparations for the January 2013 Africa Nations Cup in South Africa.

Speaking about the team’s expectations for the friendly with Venezuela, Amokachi said "winning is important, but that’s not all, my Boss - the Super Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi  wants to motivate the team by pitching the foreign-based players against their home-grown counterparts in tough, friendly contests.  He wants them to show their commitment and give it their all, or they wouldn’t make the team selection."

The super Eagles took photos and signed autographs for Embassy staff and family members.
