Last night's annual Children’s Defense Fund's Beat the Odds awards gave the Hollywood crowd a good reason to glam up. The red carpet at the Beverly Hills Hotel drew a chic cast of actresses, styled up to show their support. Alexis Bledel wowed in a fiery-red strapless (incidentally perfect for the holiday season) — and made us wish we saw this sweet style setter out and about more often. Zoe Saldana hit the event in an understated but beautiful plum-hued Giambattista Valli sheath, but it was Reese Witherspoon's postbaby return to the red carpet in a lacy Jason Wu that may be the night's biggest arrival.
