The YouTube sensation known as Psy, aka Park Jae-sang, is best known for his silly horse moves in “Gangnam Style.” But recently unearthed images reveal the singer with the most popular video on YouTube also has a reportedly anti-American past.
During a 2004 performance against 37,000 U.S. troops in South Korea, the singer smashed a camouflaged American tank onstage, Mediaite reports.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, however, this isn’t the first time Psy expressed anti-American sentiments. In a song titled, “Dear American,” he reportedly delivered the lines, “Kill those f—ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives,” during a 2002 concert in South Korea.
“Kill those f—ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives/Kill those f—ing Yankees who ordered them to torture/Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers/Kill them all slowly and painfully.”
The 2004 concert was in protest against the killing of Kim Sun-il, a South Korean missionary and translator who was beheaded in Iraq by militants. Sun-il was murdered after the South Korean government proceeded with plans to send 3,000 additional troops to the country, CNN reports.

Rapper Rick Ross Issues Statement; Cancels Rest Of Maybach Music Group Tour

Miami rapper Rick Ross has come forward to clarify recent reports surrounding the cancellation of dates on his Maybach Music Tour.
The Maybach Music Tour, which kicked off on November 2, was originally scheduled to run until December 2.
Representatives from Rick Ross confirmed AllHipHop.com that the tour was supposed to continue until December 16.
But the outing was abruptly canceled by promoters in Greensboro and Charlotte North Carolina.
Reps for Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com that the first leg of the tour was completed successfully without incident, but due to the “apparent lack of organization and communication on the part of the tour promoter,” the remaining dates of the Maybach Music Tour have officially been canceled.
“I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities,” Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com. “I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I’m ready to get back in the studio to make good music.”
