Beanie Sigel No Longer Has Any Quarrel w/ Jay-Z

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Beans has finally arrived at the same conclusion that most rational people came to immediately after he dropped “What You Talkin Bout”: that without Jay-Z he wouldn’t even have the platform he’s was now using to air out their personal beef.

Sigel told XXL earlier today:

“What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas fuck up too,’” Sigel exclusively told XXLMag.com over the phone, while in his native Philadelphia today (May 31). “Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should have never done that.”

Emotions are a motherfucker. They’ll fuck you over every time if you don’t keep them in check. In any event, Beans also told XXL that he has a whole album’s worth of tracks going at Jay and detailing his problems with Roc-A-Fella, but he says he wouldn’t feel right putting them out. I think we can all agree that somebody needs to leak that material immediately in the interest of the preservation of Rap Beef History. I think it’s also safe to say that there’s no way in hell that material won’t leak eventually, so he might as well put it out himself on his own terms.

Video: Flavor Flav Talks About His New Book

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

Short term poultry investor Flavor Flav talks to AllHipHop about his upcoming autobiography Flavor Flav: The Icon The Memoir which drops tomorrow. He speaks on the genral theme of the book and says it’s full of great stories from his early years such as the time he jumped off a roof at age 5, and I would imagine, his alleged deflowering in the playground at age 6. The latter came again up during a recent Q&A with Vanity Fair about his famous clock necklaces:

You also claim in the book that you lost your virginity at six years old. I’m probably not the first person to say this, but no you didn’t.
Yes I did!

No, sorry, that didn’t happen. I do not believe you.
Listen, as a baby, when you sleep, your penis gets hard. You know what I’m saying? Every single baby boy’s penis pops a boner.

Are we seriously about to have an argument about baby boners?
I felt it. I felt it go in. It didn’t go all the way in. Just the tip, but that’s enough to say you lost it. I don’t care what nobody says.

Dying.
