Soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division (the "Baghdad Eagles") move stealthily through a palm grove on a late February patrol in the area of Mahmudiayh, 17 miles south of Baghdad. Soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division are nearby, in support of the operation, aimed at finding anti-Iraqi forces and their weapons.
