Even though they're showing Interstate 20 highway signs, they're describing US Route 20. Two different highways. Apparently, "Now I Know", .......... didn't.

Yes indeed, numerous times they flash that I-20 sign does anyone think THEY pay attention to this or that they'll ever realize how far apart the 2 roadways are?? How about that I-20 is 1550 miles from Kent,Texas to Florence,South Carolina nowhere near US 20.

We have the same problem in Dallas. Us 75 in Big D is referred to as I75 which in reality runs from Michigan to Florida and comes nowhere near Texas. Ahhh but details

When I was a child I lived on my uncle's dairy farm which 'fronted' on Route 20 just 15 miles East of Syracuse,New York. That was back when the freight trains were still pulled by steam locomotives and the milk was still delivered to the dairy in 10 gallon cans.

Been to Craters of the Moon on a motorcycle trip, awesome place and you can see why the Apollo Astronauts trained for the Moon missions there.
I always thought the longest road in America was 'FRONTAGE ROAD', no matter where you go by freeway, every jerkwater village you come to, the first sign you can see from the highway is 'FRONTAGE ROAD' next road trip see if I'm not right-

Was raised there as a kid. I believe this route also has the three largest hills of any road in the nation.

I always wondered why there are interstate highways in Hawaii.

I asked my GPS to give me a route from Boston to Honolulu once. It sat there for a while and then melted into a puddle on my dashboard.

US 20 runs through our town, I have always wanted to drive coast to coast through all of the small towns just to experience that bit of Americana.

we lived about 2 mi off 20 also. Always spent the boring trip into town watching for the out-of-state licence plates in the summer.

US 20 is the longest road. US 6 once was until California cut it short. I-90 is the longest interstate. I-20 shouldn't have been featured on their clip at all.

I think I could have put a far more interesting clip together on this topic. I KNOW it would have been at least far more accurate.

All this info is readily available on line, and the history of the US highway system is actually really interesting.

Interstates are usually a little shorter than the comparable US highways. The main reason for this is that the interstates are a lot straighter.

It is well known that Frontage Road is the longest road in the USA...you see signs for it everywhere you go.
