Lemberg is the German word for the city now known as Lviv, and which has also been know as Lvov and "Lwów". It is presently in western Ukraine. In 1914, it was in Austro-Hungary and was taken by the Russians. This picture is probably from after June, 1915, when the Austrians re-took the city, remaining in control until the end of the war.
