The Perennial Plate Plus

The Perennial Plate is an online weekly documentary series dedicated to socially responsible and adventurous eating. Chef and Activist, Daniel Klein and Co-producer/Camera girl Mirra Fine are traveling the world exploring the wonders, complexities and stories behind the ever more connected global food system. The episodes follow the culinary, agricultural and hunting explorations of Daniel Klein, and the people they meet along the way. Season One took place over a calendar year in Minnesota where every Monday for 52 weeks, Klein and Fine released short films about good food. In Season Two, the duo travelled across America, taking the viewer on a journey to appreciate and understand where good food comes from and how to enjoy it. Their current season takes them from China to India, Argentina to Italy, Ethiopia to Morocco (and more) to meet the people behind the food.
