Evalyn Walsh McLean (1886-1947), wife of Edward Beale McLean, publisher of the Washington Post (1916-1933).
      Her wikipedia entry:
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evalyn_Walsh_McLean
She was the last private owner of the Hope Diamond, among other highlights of her biography; she's also the "Mrs. Ned McLean" mentioned in the lyrics of Cole Porter's "Anything Goes."

"When Missus Ned McLean (God bless her)
Can get Russian reds to "yes" her,
      Then I suppose
      Anything goes."

She looks the part of a Cole Porter lyric, though, doesn't she?
