While not as entertaining (or scientifically groundbreaking) as the apparent announcement last month that North Korean archaeologists had discovered a unicorn lair, a statement from the Secretariat of the Committee for Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) published this week in response to a UN General Assembly resolution on human rights in the north, is remarkable in its Orwellian doublethink and depiction of a reality completely at odds to our own. We were always at war with Eurasia.
