Baltimore police, as part of a regional task force, have executed hundreds of warrants in a matter of days as part of stepped-up efforts to get suspected criminals off the street. The Warrant Apprehension Task Force is made up of law officers from the city and Baltimore County and the U.S. Marshals. Above, Detective John Giganti, left, and Sgt. Allen Adkins walk a suspect picked up on an open warrant to a police wagon. The Orioles are bringing left fielder Nate McLouth back to the team. According to multiple sources, the Orioles and the 31-year-old left fielder have agreed to a one-year deal. There is no option involved. The Orioles haven't announced the deal, but it is reportedly worth $2 million with $500,000 in performance bonuses. |
