Upcoming Election Information
Petitions for the April 9, 2013 Consolidated Election for the position of Village President (1 four year term position), Village Clerk (1 four year term position) and Village Trustee (3 four year term positions) will be available Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Village Hall, 1050 W Romeo Rd., Romeoville, IL.
The first day to file petitions is December 17, 2012. The last day to file petitions is December 24, 2012. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Early Voting for November Elections
Early voting begins on October 22nd and ends November 2nd. The hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Letters regarding Electric Aggregation as well as opt out information should arrive by September 7th. Click the following links for sample copies of the letter as well as frequently asked questions on the program. The opt out date for Romeoville residents is September 28th which will be indicated in the letters you receive.

Village Text Message Alerts
The Village of Romeoville is excited to announce a new communication service that allows residents to receive valuable community information through text messaging. Messages may include emergency weather notifications, traffic updates as well as other relevant safety and community event information.
The service is provided by Nixle and is secure. When citizens receive information from our agency via Nixle, they know it can be trusted. Subscribers can also choose the way in which alerts are received, whether it is by email, text message or over the web. Residents can immediately begin receiving pertinent information via text message, email and web by registering here or by texting VORINFO to 888777.
