U.S. Representative Austin Scott (GA-08) joined his colleagues on the Floor of the House to blast the return of the Death Tax. "Approximately 30% of family businesses will be passed on to the family's second generation. 12% will make it to the third generation, and only 3% of all family businesses make it to the fourth generation or beyond. For a family farmer, those figures are disheartening. However, if the President has his way, those percentages will be even lower."
