After 16 years of work, Congressman Don Manzullo was finally able to realize his #1 priority for McHenry County -- the Algonquin Western Bypass project. More than 100 people attended the official groundbreaking ceremony for the most-awaited road project in McHenry County history. Once complete in two years, the new road will dramatically relieve the congestion at Routes 31 and 62 in downtown Algonquin.
