WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Randy Neugebauer (TX-19) released a statement applauding Cargill’s announcement that it will build a new feed product production facility in Bovina, TX.  The facility will be located near an existing Cargill Cattle Feeders (CCF) location.

“I couldn’t be more pleased about Cargill’s decision to invest in Parmer County.  This new facility will not only create job opportunities during construction, but it will also add 37 permanent jobs to the community.

“West Texas is the heart of cattle feeding country, and it is home to some our nation’s closest communities and hardest workers.  I know that just as Parmer County will benefit from Cargill’s investment, Cargill will benefit from closer ties to the Bovina community. 

“Today’s announcement is a great example of how the private sector can work with local communities to create jobs and grow our economy.”
