Here is the statement I released today in support of Israel's response to rocket fire from Gaza: "Hamas is a terrorist organization that has fired more than 12,000 rockets into Israel over the last 12 years, and Israel has every right to de...fend its people and its borders. Not only is Hamas putting the lives of Israeli citizens in imminent danger, but as direct consequence, Hamas is also putting the lives of Palestinians in Gaza in danger. I pray for a peaceful and permanent end to this violence. Until that time, however, Congress, the President, and the people of this country must stand with Israel."See More- Tonight, I was honored to be recognized by the Colorado Farm Bureau at their Annual Meeting as a "Friend of Farm Bureau."
