Hurricane Sandy Support, Federal Emergency Management Agency
Ten incident manamagement teams and 38 crews are assisting with Hurrricane Sandy relief efforts. Two NIMO teams are working in New York to provide support to Nassau County and New York City. The third NIMO team is working with the Office of Emergency Management in Brooklyn, New York. Six incident management teams are assigned to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. They are managing distribution centers, mobilization centers, and working to clear roads.

Weather: A Pacific storm will move across the western states producing rain and snow over the Northwest, the northern Rockies and the northern Great Basin. Meanwhile, colder air will drop into the northern and central Plains. In the Northeast, an exiting storm will continue to produce rain, snow and strong winds over the New England states. The southern half of the nation will remain warm while the upper Mississippi, the Ohio Valley and the Great Lakes region remain cool.
