MEDIA ADVISORY: Congressman Denham to Address Concerns of Rising Gas Prices

(Modesto, CA) — U.S. Representative Jeff Denham (R-Turlock) will participate in a brief tour and informal discussion on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at a Salida gas station to address the concerns of Valley residents about California’s record-high gas prices.

Rep. Denham will tour the Vineyard 76 gas station and visit with station employees and consumers to discuss how the recent gas spike has impacted their day-to-day activities.  At approximately 2:30 p.m. PT, Rep. Denham will hold a media availability to discuss the visit and his efforts as a member of the House Natural Resources Committee and as House Energy Action Team (HEAT) regional captain to promote an all-of-the-above domestic energy strategy to reduce regulations and lower gas prices to put people back to work.
