Statement from Congressman Boustany on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords

Washington, DC - Rep. Charles Boustany (R-Southwest Louisiana), issued the following statement on Saturday:

"My thoughts and prayers are with Representative Gabrielle Giffords, her staff and their families, and all who were injured in this senseless attack.  This act of violence is an assault on our democracy and our nation and has no place in our society.  This is truly a sad day for our country."
