CONGRESSMAN BERG ATTENDS GROUNDBREAKING ON NOVASPECT FACILITY IN MANDAN

Mandan, N.D. – Congressman Rick Berg today attended a groundbreaking ceremony for Novaspect’s new Mandan facility – a 20,000 square foot facility with a $2.6 million annual payroll that will provide infrastructure solutions for companies based in the Bakken oil patch. Novaspect Chief Financial Officer Mike Franz and other executive team members, Senator John Hoeven and Governor Jack Dalrymple, joined Berg for the ceremony.

“It’s great seeing companies like Novaspect recognizing the business-friendly climate of North Dakota and choosing to invest here,” stated Berg.  “Here in North Dakota, we encourage private sector job growth by creating stability and certainty for our job creators, and I am excited to see this facility once it is completed.”

Novaspect provides engineering solutions for process control needs, selling valves, instrumentation, mechanicals services and computer systems that control the flow of industrial processes.  Their employees make an average salary of $100,000 annually with a $30,000 benefits package.  They plan to have 12 employees in their Mandan facility by year’s end in sales and field services, with 30 – 35 employees within the next two years.
