Gardner Statement on Israel’s Response to Missile Attacks

COLO. – Congressman Cory Gardner (R-CO) released the following statement on Israel’s response to rocket fire from Gaza:   

"Hamas is a terrorist organization that has fired more than 12,000 rockets into Israel over the last 12 years, and Israel has every right to defend its people and its borders. Not only is Hamas putting the lives of Israeli citizens in imminent danger, but as direct consequence, Hamas is also putting the lives of Palestinians in Gaza in danger. I pray for a peaceful and permanent end to this violence. Until that time, however, Congress, the President, and the people of this country must stand with Israel."
