Medicaid
While Medicaid is partially funded by the federal government, administration of the program and its benefits is managed by each state government. Unfortunately, that means my office is unable to help you directly if you are having problems with enrollment or benefits.
However, we have compiled the following list of resources which you may find helpful in addressing your problem. You may also call our office at (812) 288-3999 if you need further guidance.
- Your State Senator or State Representative will be able to assist you with the state agency that oversees Medicaid in much the same way my office assists you with federal agencies. Click here to find out who your state legislators are, and to get their contact information.
- The agency that oversees Medicaid is the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA). You can view the FSSA's Medicaid website by clicking here.
- Apply for Medicaid with the State of Indiana online
- Phone numbers for Medicaid assistance: (317) 713-9627 or 1-800-457-4584
