You know if we can get a process in place with some broader outlines of what that agreement will look like -- going into the next -- would be appropriate.
But I want -- picture that fiscal cliff remains otherwise the pressure's gonna get taken off from congress and will be little in some of them frost and negotiate.
And a compromise at the end of the day and listen.

So we're gonna have to cooperate with each other in order to reach that type of an agreement.
Well congressman gardener he's certainly reaching over to -- but I wanted to get -- answer first.
That question about would you be comparable with something temporary that just gets us to mid year.
But I think when it comes the issue of sequestration it set a plan in place where we start reducing spending and that's what we need to do we need to reduce spending and grow our economy.
So I would not support something that avoided spending.
Cuts but I would support something they did in a different order of the did it in a way that doesn't cause the kind of damage to our national defense that sequestration could.
So we can find something that would reduce spending give us the time we need to put together overall comprehensive tax reform to grow our economy and reduce spending even more.

Congressman -- do you think -- that tax increases.

No I don't think there -- never -- do you think that we need comprehensive tax reform in this nation to grow the economy.
That we put revenue on the table through a series of the plans that would bring down taxes but also grow the economy bring more revenue to the federal government.
And that tax increases the president's plan.
That would increase -- attacks on a million small businesses around the nation and hurt according to Ernst and young as many as 700000 jobs in this nation.

To help businesses large and small to be as competitive as they need to be.
But listen you know revenue is revenue whether we adjust the marginal rates -- take away some expenditures and revenue is something that -- CEO said we we need.
And that every bipartisan commission that's been formed to look and find solutions to this have concluded -- solved -- Holly get that additional revenue I think we're gonna be able to reach agreement on -- spending that we've got to come to grips with in the largest and fastest growing areas spending as rising health care costs.

That's really going to be -- key to getting our fiscal house in order.
