THE BURNING QUESTION: Why are Tibetans Turning to Self-immolation?

The Communist Chinese Party, the most arbitrary, most brutal, most murderous regime in modern history, is unlikely to resume MEANINGFUL negotiations with TIbetan representatives in the absence of significant, coordinated, International pressure .. The response of world governments and world leaders MUST hold China to the same standard of human rights as any other, without blurring expectations because of financial, political and trade power that China is grabbing through threats of consequences!

The Tibetans are setting themselves on fire in a desperately symbolic attempt to get complacent leaders to notice their horrible situation. It is a cry for help to the world, like sending up a flare from a sinking ship. That ship is their homeland and freedom, and since even its flares were stolen from them, they are using their own bodies as the flares.

self immolation is not hate violence and aggression tibetan needs to cool down and talk about it without lying.

The Western world must remain compact in make it clear to China that the Tibetan culture and the Tibetans themselves are World Heritage and they should have the autonomy to continue their tradition. The Dalai Lama with the "Middle Way Approach" think has found the exact path. That Tibet is a province of China is now a fact from which there is no turning back, but this province should become autonomous and have their own life within China but free from its influence.
