Congressman Huelskamp to Conclude Second Year of 69 Town Halls

DODGE CITY, KAN. - When Congressman Tim Huelskamp took office in January 2011 he pledged to constituents that he would continue the tradition of his predecessors of hosting a town hall every year in each of the First District's 69 counties. On Saturday, December 1, 2012, Congressman Huelskamp will conclude the second straight year of meeting that promise when he hosts a town hall in Nemaha County.

"To the thousands of Kansans who have taken the time to tell me their priorities for Washington, thank you," Congressman Huelskamp said. "I always say that the best part of my job is hearing straight from the people who sent me to Washington, so town halls are an invaluable opportunity to make sure that Kansans' priorities remain mine. Whether it is talking about the need to get America's fiscal house in order for the sake of the next generation or about scaling back overregulation that threatens the very industries that keep Kansas' economy humming, I am always humbled and honored that constituents take the time to provide their feedback."

The Nemaha County town hall will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Cornerstone Coffee Haus located at 431 Main Street in Seneca, Kan.. For more information, please contact Congressman Huelskamp's Salina office at 785-309-0572.
