Peter Koulen, PhD, professor, Department of Pharmacology and Neuroscience, was named a Healthcare Hero by the Dallas Business Journal for his research into Alzheimer's disease treatments.

"In my opinion, Alzheimer's is one of the last frontiers in biomedicine that we need to tackle," Dr. Koulen said in the article.
