FORT WORTH, Texas – Mark A. Baker, D.O., a Fort Worth radiologist, has been named the 2001-02 president of the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA).

A 1976 graduate of the University of North Texas Health Science Center’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), Dr. Baker will lead the medical association and its 1,800 members for a one-year term.

"We are proud to have another of TCOM’s graduates serve in this important role," said Ronald Blanck, D.O., president of the UNT Health Science Center. "Dr. Baker is the third TCOM graduate to be elected president of TOMA, and he will provide steady and firm leadership as TOMA continues to build on its foundation."

Certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, Dr. Baker is a radiologist with Westside Radiology Consultants. He is on staff at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas and Graham Regional Medical Center.
