He also holds a faculty appointment at the Niagara Institute, an international leadership development center that is part of the Conference Board of Canada and the Conference Board of America.

Dr. McQueen received a joint doctoral degree in higher education administration and business from the University of North Texas in 1995. He earned a master of science in health education from the State University of New York in Brockport and received his bachelor of arts from Wilfred Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
