Volleyball team wins West Division in final Sun Belt season

Mean Green Volleyball wins Sun Belt Conference Western Division The Mean Green volleyball team finished their years in the Sun Belt Conference in second place in the season-ending tournament.

The team won the Sun Belt West Division and won two matches to reach the championship match Nov. 16 versus Western Kentucky. WKU, ranked 17th nationally, won the tournament and a place in the NCAA national playoffs.

The Mean Green finished the conference season 25-12, and will join Conference USA with all Mean Green sports teams in 2013-14.
