Which colleges and universities are Texas seniors sending their ACT college admissions test scores?

The Texas Education Agency has listed the top 10 schools where college-bound seniors from the Class of 2012 are having their scores sent as part of admissions applications. All 10 are in Texas. Two are in the Metroplex: University of North Texas and TCU. Number 1 is Texas A & M University's main campus in College Station.

Canton Musicians Learn to Improvise at Jazz Camp

After a week of hard work, approximately 10 middle-school aged students showcase their skills in jazz improvisation Friday morning. 

The students had studied for a week in jazz camp, offered by Canton public schools last week. Prior to the concert, head teacher Tom Moran told parents he was pound of students for taking the journey into jazz music. It's not easy to put oneself out there to solo in front of a crowd, he said. 

"Everyone who takes a solo is really taking a giant step into a whole new world," he said.
