How to Request a Tutor

All tutor requests must go through the CAP office. Our tutors are UNTHSC students, your peers. They are trained to share strategies and tools that will allow you to process information more effectively. Our office offers Individual, Online, Drop In, Small Group, and Large Group Tutorials.

• All students requesting a tutor must make an appointment with a CAP Learning Specialist. 
• A CAP staff member will review your Tutor Request form with you, and determine if your request can be approved at that time.
• If your Tutor Request is accepted, you will be notified as soon as possible (typically within 48 hours) with your tutor assignment.
